Rimsha Qureshi holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) and is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC #29320) in good standing with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC).
Rimsha works with adults, youth and young adults, couples, and families navigating trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, substance use concerns, emotional regulation difficulties, relationship challenges, and major life transitions.
A significant focus of her clinical experience has been supporting individuals recovering from trauma & PTSD, addiction & substance use, and concurrent mental health challenges. She also works with clients recovering from motor vehicle accidents (ICBC recovery) and other life-altering events, helping them navigate the emotional, psychological, and functional impacts of injury and recovery.
Her approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, strengths-based, and client-centred. She integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, psychoeducation, harm reduction principles, and recovery-oriented approaches, tailoring treatment to each client's unique needs and goals.
Fluent in English, Urdu, and Hindi, Rimsha is committed to creating a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental environment where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to create meaningful change in their lives. Clients must be physically located in British Columbia at the time of session to comply with professional licensing and regulatory standards. Direct billing is available for eligible extended health plans (Pacific Blue Cross, Sun Life, Canada Life, Manulife via TELUS eClaims) and ICBC claims.

Under ICBC Enhanced Care, individuals injured in a motor vehicle accident in British Columbia can access up to 12 pre-approved counselling treatments during the first 12 weeks after a crash, subject to applicable ICBC eligibility and conditions. Billed directly to ICBC at the standard $160 per 50-minute counsellor rate for eligible claims, with no doctor referral required. Direct billing and coverage should be confirmed with your claim details.
